Hailing from the city that spawned such acts as Buck
Owens and Korn, Another Year is a three-piece
Bakersfield band made up of Tony B on lead
vocals/guitar, J Wolf on bass/vocals, Tim on Guitar and Bobby Dale on
drums. Formed in the fall of 2003, Another Year
quickly took their Bakersfield roots and mainstream
influences to create an atmospheric alternative sound
all their own. Fans and critics compare Another Year's
sound to 311 meets Queens of the Stone Age meets the
Red Hot Chili Peppers with a touch of The Police. In
late 2005 Another Year recorded a three-song E.P. with
producer Nick Forcillo (Adema) with mastering handled
by Tom Baker (NIN, Beastie Boys). The release of their
debut E.P was followed by successful shows in
Bakersfield, San Luis Obispo, and various other
Central California cities.
