I'm a music producer/graphic designer/photographer located in Linköping, Sweden. I like to think in terms of emotions, sounds and stories rather than genres and use many different tools and techniques to make my music - acoustic instruments (all kinds of guitars, mandolin, etc), electronics, samples and anything else I can get my hands on that makes a noise. I want my music to be about imagination and subtle storytelling rather than predefined genres or functions and I like to combine the traditional with the experimental, e.g. acoustic guitar arrangements juxtaposed against gritty electronic noises or beats. Apart from my personal music projects I produce for film, tv, computer games and theater. I'm kinda schizoid but I don't want to set up a new MySpace profile everytime I do something different, so everything I do will end up here no matter if it's orchestral, electronic, acoustic or whatever. Hope you enjoy it..!
Notes on the above tracks:
The Heart Of A Pirate - Orchestral piece. Amphibian - A friend of mine released a picture book for children in 2007 and I made this track for the release event. I feel I should re-record the guitar, some day... Woodland I.C.U. - Work in progress... A Clockwork Morning - Work in progress... Pipeline Mk II - Music for a racing game set in space. An experiment with interactive game music, different layers would fade in and out depending on the speed of your vessel. It would start off with the more ambient, atmospheric sounds, then the bass and drums would join in, and when you really picked up speed you'd get the electric guitars etc on top of that. Dust 2 Dust (New Dier Mines) - Some creepy background music for a game demo.
Allan Näslund - Sound & Imagery's Friend Space (Top 20)
"All actions towards the Sacred Emptiness are of Universal Intelligence, and Ultimate Enlightenment! With the ultimate enlightened goal of Emptiness, all detailed rivers of actions shall reach the Universal Sea of Enlightenment!"
Nice to meet you Allan. I'm listening to your works and I like its so much. yours is a very cool sound, an interesting way to combine instruments and electronic samples. you are among my top friends ;)
