Alex Ansary was born on February 25th, 1980 in Portland, Oregon. Since his early youth, he has been questioning the very nature of his reality. Following the attacks of September 11th, 2001, Alex embarked on a quest for the truth about what really happened on that day. From there, his journey expanded into publicly pondering just what is taking place on the planet today. His program, Outside the Box, gives voice to those normally censored or attacked in the mainstream media. The program aims to connect the dots behind world events and to provide a sense of hope during these turbulent times. He challenges his viewers to take responsibility for their own lives and to help create a real world of peace. The program does not condone violence, but rather encourages people to evolve beyond it entirely. Alex resides in Portland, Oregon and participates in the global battle for freedom utilizing cable television, internet radio, and the world wide web. david	Oct 14 2009 10:00 PM I never said fuck you. And it is you, in fact, that has only looked at the negative things I said. Your right, the few shows have been very good. But the reason I didn't write you to say so is I'm not sure how long that will last. I wasn't necessarily talking about when you get mad and yell, but particularly that time when you basically told your audience (the ones your doing this for, right?) to go to hell; and you even basically said the same thing to your friends, on-air. And did you go on air the next week and apologias, and say your turning a new leaf, to the point that, at the very least, you wont be cussing out your audience anymore? Are you done doing that? You will you do it next week? I don't know! And you have given us no indication if you will or will not. So please excuse me for not kissing your ass, just like some of the people calling in, which by the way, you at times you have treated very rudely on your show. So what if I did send you a "thank you for doing a good job lately Alex" email? How do I know your not going to send me another "fuck you asshole" email, when I've seen how you've treated some of your loyal callers? You have given me no indication to think otherwise. Dude I'm not against you. And I truly hope best for you. And in the past I have considered sending you some of what little money I have, (though your actions lead me to change my mind). I'm sure there are many other people that would be willing to show their financial support, too, but not if your calling them lazy assholes, and are giving them no indication if you are going to insult them in the near future, or not. I'm all about second chances, and I'm sure most people watch your shows are too.

I truly appreciate the good that you do, and I know you are a good person, but you must understand that when people see your actions, whatever they may be, it is a reflection on the rest of us. And I know you know this, your not a stupid guy. But if you are really here, as you say, "for us" you need to keep this in the forefront of your mind when you go on-air. Noone expects you to be perfect, but if you need to vent please don't do it at the movement's expense. And honestly I don't think shoving it down everyone's throat that they aren't "coming together," like some drill sergeant, is really going to grow the group. Honestly, I'm not trying to drag you through the mud, and you really have shown me new perspectives on life, and I do appreciate that. I just feel if your going to put your self up front as a "poster child," so to speak, for the movement, these things must be addressed.
