Loreena McKennitt
Jacie McConnell and AN Shee Eilee, inspired by popular movies like Harry Potter, The Lord Of the Rings and Narnia, has a very different goal. NOT TO BE JUST ANOTHER BAND BUT a A SHOW! An epiphany struck Jacie as she was listening to a recording of the rock group, "Rhapsody Of Fire", which brought to mind her classical performance and fascination of Peter and the Wolf. Riverdance and Celtic Women being a big influence! Let the music in conjunction with poetic narration and dance tell an ongoing story on a smaller scale.
By the end of 2008 it came to be. A five piece group, with all members being milti-instrumentalist, a gypsy dancer, and a story teller/poet came together.
And just this year 2009 for Their bigger shows the NATIONALLY KNOWN Clogger's from High Country Conservitory of Dance (On Americas got Talent a few years ago) have been added.
Their performances result in a style with a gypsy/Celtic flair. "AN SHEE EILEE (The Other Muse) has arrived !

I wish I could have spent more time with you and Jer but we were short handed and I was trying to take care of grand march of dogs without the pups freaking out and then take care of nourishment issues for Caroline. I hope to see both of you sometime this fall. If Barb and I can get away when Jacie has a gig.
