About me: It's always the first thing anyone asks me - Do I ever sleep. And the concern is fully appreciated. But don't worry...I do get the amount of rest I need.
Whad'em I talking about? you say (if you didn't, well I'll tell anyway!)
As the photo (and videos) in my profile suggests, I'm a stay-at-home dad during the day ( to a beautifully demanding princess and an amazingly energetic and heartwarming boy who happens to be autistic) and semi-vigilante at night (I spot the bad guys, I just don't go after them anymore...let someone else play Batman!).
Everybody knows somebody who knows somebody who knows an autistic child, so I probably don't have to explain why I have to stay home. And I don't complain - I wouldn't miss this challenging and life-changing experience for all the gizmos in Ford Prefect's satchel. Yes...sleep is scarce. But the human body adapts more easily than we think, and it's worth it.
Any question? No Justin...you can't have a chocolate bar. Nice try.
Who I'd like to meet: Being "Babysitter-Daddy", I can hardly manage to keep track of my friends, so I guess it's hard to meet new people. I would appreciate someone who works nights like me, and has just as much time as I to chat and keep me company.
