I am a performing singer-songwriter based Santa Barbara, CA. I write songs,
play guitar and mandolin and dabble in percussion.
I've been part
of a duo for nine years, Antara
& Delilah, during which time we've recorded and released three CDs. I'm also one-third of the Jim
Messina Acoustic Trio which has led to tours across the U.S.
My duo partner Delilah moved to the Maine so I'm setting out to make some solo noise or sing in a band.
Sometimes I sing with the band Shades of Day. They totally rock and have great original songs. Lately I'm joined by Bill Lanphar for acoustic shows. He's a wonderful friend and talented guitar player.
I recently recorded a song with the Shades of Day boys unlike my usual musings - All Hat. It's a tongue-in-cheek tune about men trying to be what they aren't...and women falling for it. Last year I recorded Louann, based on a true story of a Katrina survivor. This song was produced by Robinson Eikenberry and features Kenny Edwards on many different instruments.
