Antarhes se forme en 2003. Les membres du groupe tournent depuis quelques mois dans une formation acoustique mais désirent monter un groupe de musique amplifiée.
Entre 2004 et 2006 Antarhes sort 3 démos, sillonne les salles, café concerts et festivals du sud ouest et remporte plusieurs tremplins. Antarhes est aussi diffusé sur des radio locales et webradios.
Après avoir foulé les planches de nombreuses scènes, c’est en août 2006 qu’Antarhes enregistre son premier album "Silaelin". L’enregistrement aura duré 6 mois et c’est le 27 décembre 2006 que ce premier opus complet voit le jour. Cet album est notament remarqué par le magazine Rock One qui choisit d'intègrer "Love Song" dans son sampler du mois d'avril 2007.
En mai 2007, Antarhes assure la première partie de MYPOLLUX !
En juin 2007 Antarhes est endorsé par les marques Mada et Gibson.
En octobre 2007, suite à de nombreux courriers élogieux reçus par Rock One concernant notre présence sur le sampleur d’avril, le mag publie une interview du groupe et décrit Antarhes comme "la nouvelle sensation française" !!!
En novembre 2007, le groupe figurera sur la compil French Metal, aux côtés de Mnemic, Zuul FX et X-Vision entre autre...
Au même moment Rock One inclu une nouvelle fois un morceau d'Antarhes à son sampleur.
En janvier 2008, les membres d'Antarhes décident de mettre en pause leur aventure.
Finalement l'aventure reprend un an plus tard ! Deux titres sont en cours d'enregistrement.

Antarhes comes together in 2003. They play acoustically for a few months but their desire to form an electric rock group leads them to join with friends Laurent, Mathieu, and Cyril with whom they play their first few compositions.
Between 2004 and 2006 Antarhes releases 3 demos, traveling all around the South West region of France to play concerts in small venues and cafes, which serves as a springboard for gaining experience and relationships. At this time, Antarhes is also played on local radio stations and web radios.
After having set foot on many a stage, it is in August, 2006 that Antarhes records their first album, "Silaelin." The recording process will have taken 6 months and it is on December 27th, 2006, that their first album sees the light of day. The album is noticed by Rock One magazine, which chooses to integrate "Love Song" into its April 2007 music sampler.
In May, 2007, Antarhes rocks the opening act with the french band MYPOLLUX!
In June, 2007, Antarhes is endorsed by Mada and Gibson brands.
