I'm working with a band called The Great Operation on planning a big summer weekend Punk/Hardcore/Ska festival. They have a full PA system, and equipment. We are looking for bands (10-15, or more) and a possible place to host this event (inside or outside). We will work out the costs to rent and everything else also.

Working backwards, M. Night Shyamalan's movies gradually get better, but Lady in the Water was horrendous. They are marketing The Happening as his first R-rated movie. Weird.
i'm actually babysitting my cousin and her husband's two kids this friday and saturday while they are away, so i don't think i'll be able to make this one. but what time do you guys go on? and who else is playing the show? hopefully i can check out another show later in the summer.
By the trailer, did you think it would be thought provoking? Provoking thought isn't the main component of horror. Provoking fear is. Predictable? They told you it was going to end badly in the first five minutes, so I don't think they were trying to hide where they were going. And as for plot, you don't really need to dress a home invasion film up with one - it's self explanatory. The reason the movie is effective is because of how honest it was. It set out to deliver what was promised the whole time and then came through. If people have issues with that, it's because they were kidding themselves the whole time. I wouldn't have expected anything less.
