Entstanden aus einer ehemaligen Punkrock Band, gründeten sich Anthem for Maverick [AFM] im Sommer 2007 neu, um ihrer musikalischen Weiterentwicklung einen Namen zu geben.
Die daraus entstandene Mischung aus kraftvollen und energiegeladenen Riffs verbunden mit einprägsamen Melodien machen Anthem for Maverick [AFM] äußerst hörenswert.
Die Musik in eine Schublade zu stecken, ist auf Grund der vielen verschiedenen Einflüsse überaus schwierig, findet sich aber am ehesten in den Bereichen Postpunk/Powerpop/Hardcore wieder...macht euch selbst ein Bild!
After playing several shows as a typical "fuck-it-all-punkrock-band", Anthem for Maverick [AFM] restarted their musical career in the summer of 2007, for giving their advancement a new name. The outcome of this mixture includes powerful and peppy riffs connected with catchy melodies, which makes listening to AFM pretty audiolicious! Due to a couple of different influences, it's hardly impossible to pigeonhole their music; but you will hear the different influences of Postpunk/Powerpop/Hardcore! ...come and see for yourself!
