Born and raised in the suburbs of Dertroit, Michigan. I started on the bass guitar when I was 13 years old. I wasnt really into the bass but I couldnt seem to talk my mom into allowing me to have drums. Well, one day I guess I sold her the idea. So, I bought myself a drum kit. I was heavy into the fusion thing and ofcourse bands like Rush. I always seem to like instrumentals. So from listening to this kind of music, I found myself liking the guitar more and more. Then I saw a guy named Vinnie Moore playing guitar. I was hooked! I bought a guitar from my buddy when I turned 17. I was determined to practice until I played like Vinnie.
Today, I teach guitar, bass guitar and drums, at a music studio. Ive been writting and recording instrumentals for several years now. I record my music at my home studio and hire musicians to perform. Im pretty much solo. You can also check me out on www.myspce.com/anthonyaugust...Its my personal page. There is somemore info there.
Here is an old clip of me at the Hayloft(before it became an uncool bar!!) and at the Emerald Theatre....Oh Man! Way to much hair!!

Damn dude, how did I get the honor of the #1 slot? You must like "ham" a lot more than I thought! So why are you still in Michigan? You should be in Hollywood, you big studly Adonis! Keep it real bro
Now that I know where ya are, I'm gonna send some girl your way to trick ya, when yer not looking, she's gonna dump a whole bottle O Willy The Weasel's hair-grow-like-a-weed formula on yer head to get the real shredder back from the dead!!!
You played a pretty awesome show at Emerald tonight. I especially liked the Satriani cover and Singing Monkeys. Was wondering what other guitarists you liked? Petrucci and Vai have to be my fav's. Rock On.
I was sitting in the seats in the front(black hoodie by the blonde chick).
(Appareantly my girlfriend knows the person your dating?)
