Anthony Carey is such a singer.

The voices all belong to Anthony; as singer and songwriter, he is his own accompanist. Watching him work the studio, you feel the intensity of his focus. He does everything quickly; he's a speed reader, fast talker, determined competitor and believer in die-hard discipline. Self-discipline is his style.
"I do vocal exercises every day for two to three hours" Anthony tells you in a voice whose syncopated rhythms mirror his up-tempo tunes. "I go to gym three times a week. Musically and physically, I stay in shape."
The shape of Carey's music is formed by his singular history.
"At age nine, I learned to sing in the alto section of the choir," says Anthony. My grandfather was a minister of music. The choir was a cappella, the voices were awesome, and I still hear the harmonies in my head."
”At age nineteen, I had my first recording experience and wrote the songs baby you’re my love and Why don’t she believe me” Baby you’re my love was recorded for a T.V talent showed called No Bling, this was aired on Sky TV and became a highly requested video by the public.
“Things really changed when I met Steve Slavin the producer of Heaven’s missing an angel and Wiggled Jiggled. I learnt how to have some vocal restraint and how to come away with a really clear sound. When I sing live you will always hear my vocal background, being the church but with Steve I understood how to control it in the studio”
Anthony Currently has four songs playing in retails outlets and public places and has a growing global fan base, all this has been achieved without the assistance of any record label. So this will be no shock to anyone to announce that Anthony is currently in talks with two major labels.
In the meantime Anthony is working on his debut album and image and says;” I know I can sing but I don’t just want to stand up and sing, I want to entertain and incorporate some of the ethics of the greatest artists into my own craft. When my debut album is complete and I am ready to unveil my image and craft, I believe people will be shocked but in a good way”
Anthony is currently recording his debut album “FOCUS” with Steve slavin and had this to say about the album and concept. “I feel that sometimes in life we can get caught up in things i.e. relationships, friendships which takes our focus from ourselves and we completely forget about our own aspirations, goals and destiny. I believe that no matter what it is happening in your life you should always take time out to focus on yourself. This album is to remind people to take time out to focus otherwise they can miss amazing opportunities which are available to us all if we focus”
