About me: The signing of Barnard & Lapusata to Nuova Durium has caused us to change the name of the band to CHORD, you might want to check out our official CHORD MySpace profile too.
Born and Bred in Walsall, UK of a British Mother and Italian Father, Anthony attended Pelsall Community School and then specialised in Graphic Design at Walsall College of Arts.
Currently Creative Director at Italian based design and media bureau, REPUBLIKA D&MPB, Anthony is also a Photographer, Writer, Songwriter and Lyricist.
Art & Design Over the last six years Anthony has participated in various international exhibitions keeping the company of some of the bigger names in the design and new media field such as Nico Stumpo, Joshua Davis, Mike China and Emma Guru showing works and installations at the first ever Bienal de Valencia (Spain), Flash Forward 2001 - San Francisco (USA), Flash Forward 2002 - New York (USA), Biennale di Carrera (Italy), Farm (Italy) and a year long exhibition held at the Galleria di Arte Moderna (GAM) in Turin (Italy).
His work, 'Trinity Bank', 'Hell.O Head', 'Karmadrome' and 'Channel 9' has also been featured in various on and off line art magazines and several art and design books.
Literature Anthony is currently working on his first novel entitled 'Two Halves of the Circle', an ironic true story based on auto-biographical facts that did, might and should’ve happened. Involving fast cars, women, mafia and a few what ifs.
The genre and writing style is inspired by Nick Hornby (About a Boy, High Fidelity) and Helen Fielding (Bridget Jone's Diary). Hopefully it will be ready for publication by spring 2009 and will be the first of many.
Music At the age of seventeen, Anthony was lead singer for a brief period with unsigned indie band 'The Wishing Chair', (now known as Suburbia - still unsigned), but left to pursue his career as a full time design student. Fortunately during Art College, Anthony met up with fellow design student and very good friend, Darren Barnard. They have been writing songs together ever since. For a while they also formed a band called 'Kipling' with the participation of talented Guitarist, Bassist and Drummer, Girish Patel.
Over the last four years, this musical collaboration has become a serious songwriting partnership now known as Barnard Lapusata and happy to announce that they have finally being picked up by Italian label Nuova Durium as CHORD and will be launching their debut single sometime in 2008. Listen to their music over at their official website or here on MySpace. Immagine Morrissey gone happy. Apart from songwriting, Anthony also creates his own electronic ambience / pop music in his all too rare spare time and goes under the name of Fulvant.
Photography Anthony travels a lot when he can, his top ambition is to visit the world and capture it onto a few flashcards. He also prefers to use the term photographics rather than simply photography as the images captured by him usually have or are eventually given a graphical aesthetic to them. He picked up his first camera at the age of seven and has been shooting people, objects and spaces ever since. He currently has a personal portfolio of his photography on line, please click here to view it.
Services As you might have guessed from reading above, Art, Music, Photography and Literature is a great passion for him and therefore would like to get involved with people of similar interests. - CD / DVD / Book Cover Design - Tshirt Design - Poster Design - Websites - Interactive Media - Typesetting etc.

Just dropping by to welcome you to the family...Just in case you are unaware of the insanity...last year I published a book called "Toilet Bowl Soup". Oprah Winfrey said I was a racist and Hank III said it was a good read. I thought I was on the right track. See for yourself and definitely keep in touch!!!
Abbreviations really help shorten a message don't they?
I like not having to type all those unnecessary remaining letters when the recipient clearly understands and hopefully appreciate brevity. It's like this one time when I was a 6. This girl I was playing doctor with kept going on and on about being my valentines and I just remember thinking: "This girl won't shut up! She talks and talk and talks and talks. Isn't there a way to abbreviate what she's saying?"... So in the spirit of brevity:
