    .. .. The Jamaican singer and multiinstrumentalist Anthony Locks has been going through a long musical carreer until he reached his todays standard of creativity. Born and raised in Jamaica, Anthony Locks learned early on the high requirements, that the hardest music business of the world demands of a young aspiring Artist. But in this young years he made his way as a Hotel musician and turned his passion into his profession. Exited about his musical skills, Iqulah international acknowledged Ambassador of the Reggae and Rastafari movement, took Anthony Locks under his wing. After Iqulah, the perfectionist, took Anthony as a drummer into his band. He went through one of the hardest schools a musician can go through. From the last week of December 1995 until the end of the first week of January 1996 he toured with the mother of Bob Marley, Cedella Marley Booker and Iqulah through Kenya, Uganda and Rwanda. Through that Anthony Locks trained and developed his own style that he perfectioned in his following phase as a solo Artist. Today the Reggae Rebel is living in Germany, where he proffed his talent in 2005 by winning two German Reggae awards, one for his extra ordinary live Performance and one for the contents of his songs. In March 2009 he published his second album named „Cry Freedom". This album not only shows the wide range of the singer, but also his brilliants as a producer. The album tells and reflects the story of the Yisraelites and of the people Anthony Locks met in his life. It"s a fire album, because he wants to give a good feeling to the people who are listening and wants to enrich them with his experiences. At his concerts Anthony impressively shows his passion for music and convinces both fans and critics. The Reggaesinger already was on Stage with Artist like Uwe Banton, Jamaica Papa Curvin, D-Flame, Roughhouse, Kingsize, Schocking Murray, Ganjaman, Yah Meek, too only name a few. He also worked together with Germanys Top Rapper Samy Deluxe and supported him as an instrumentalist and backgroundsinger. Samy Deluxe featured Anthony Locks also in his song „Brother" from his current album „Cry Freedom" and catched the Crowd with his unbeliveable flexibility and his powerful expression on Stage. In October 2009 he was on Tour with Ganjaman und Yah Meek through Germany and convinced the Massive with his powerful repertoire and its profound lyrics. At the moment he is in Studio working on his new selfproduced EP, that scheduled for release in Spring 2010. He is going to give his fans a sample of it very soon with the single „Inna Man". Only a short time ago, Anthony Locks founded his own band called „LiveSoundSystem". As the name suggest it?s a mixture of Liveband and a SoundSystem, but it is and stays a secret and a surprise that nobody should miss. The Jamaican and his new LiveSoundSystem will make the halls tremble and astonish the audience.
