The band formed in the early eighties in the Gravesend area of Kent. The line up consisted of Dee, guitar, Gareth bass, Peter drums and Oskar vocals. Two other members who joined later were Sean, rhythm guitar and Lawrence, bass. The original demo was recorded at Oakfield Studios in a day with a very helpful engineer. Following this, we recorded our first single with Smallwonder Records and a second single on the Crass Label. Various other tracks were recorded for Mortarhate. The band toured extensively with the likes of Conflict, Naked, X-cretas and Dirt. We also played two tours of Holland, arranged by the Ex. The band deceased in 1984. All Anthrax’s recorded material is due to be released by Happy Release Records (Anthrax’s own label) in the very near future, the cd will consist of their first demo, previously unreleased second demo, both the original singles and all compilation tracks.
