MySpace a place for friends

Anticlockwise began in february 2001. the early line up was benjamin on drums, fred ex singer of swiss punk/oi band Antabuse on vocals , nico ex guitarist from stoicks a french oi band and bass guitarist kermit from french punk band Alzeimer. they had their first gig Argys from south america. they then did a few gigs in france and switzerland one with Ratos de porao el(brazil) and oi polloi(england) ..... sorry could not resist that one. they are from scotland ha ha. After their first tour with mighty scottish punks The Swellbellys and french punk outfit The killing tomatoes their first split 7" was released. entitled "it wasnt planned" with killing tomatoes. after the tour nico left the band and was replaced by jp on guitar. they then did their first tour of europe playing in scotland , england, ireland and then netherlands , belgium and germany all with The mighty Swellbellys. anticlockwise have played twice at the Anti facist rude boy unity festival in geneva. then jp left to continue his quest to be frances most accomplished womaniser and he was replace by malla on guitar. another tour in belgium germany and switzerland and then 3 shows with the uk subs one with dritle wahl and a show with scotlands second best band The exploited. finally Kermit and malla left the band and were replace by paola (la meute/rouge kit hasch) on bass and needles ( the mighty Swellbellys) on guitar. the first album has been recorded entitled "Finito alleluia" and the band have just completed a short tour of scotland and england. to be continued .........................
