From now on I'll post a different documentary video or movie in this space each week or so. Too many videos slows your screen. Anyhow, keep checking back to see what the latest video I dig up might be!

As part of the settlement the Denver Police Department issued a Training Bulletin reminding all officers on the force: “Members of the public have the right to observe police officers so long as the members of the public do so in a way that does not interfere with the officers’ ability to do their job. The public also has the right to record, videotape, photograph, and otherwise document officers and individuals contacted or detained by officers in public places. These rights include the right to film, videotape, and photograph and otherwise document an officer’s contact with juveniles in public places. Officers will respect this right to observe and refrain from detaining or arresting individuals who are only observing police actions in public areas.”
It goes on to say: “Officers are required to give their name and badge number (or a business card containing that information) to any member of the public on request, unless such action is likely to jeopardize the successful completion of a police assignment. This information shall be provided to ANY [emphasis added] individual making a request, regardless if they are members of CopWatch and regardless of whether the officer(s) or the members of the public were actively involved in any incident. NO RETALIATORY ACTION SHALL BE TAKEN AGAINST ANY MEMBER OF THE COMMUNITY BASED ON THE REQUEST FOR IDENTIFICATION [emphasis added].”
Feel free to click on the pdf link above (under “Training Bulletin”) and print out as many copies of this training bulletin as you like. All Denver Police Officers have had the opportunity to read this bulletin, and I suggest carrying a few copies along with you in case they forget, so you can calmly and peacefully remind them if they should happen to hassle you for observing or attempt to deny you their identification, while you’re properly asserting your rights.
Watch my video footage of my wrongful arrest:
Keep up with Denver CopWatch on MySpace for information about upcoming “Know Your Rights” trainings, in which they’ll help you improve your skills and comfort with asserting and practicing your rights when encountering police officers. They’re everyone’s rights, but to keep them we all must use them.
And here's a little art piece I made when I was bored and had some footage. I was not editing descriptions with the individual shots and I was ranting a lot, but enough about me, here are some videos I made with my own video footage on a cheap program that comes with a particular computer brand, though I'm not telling which one because I'm not one of the advertisers, why should I, frankly...anyways watch these:

To be honest this is what I'd rather be doing:
Though I'll never quit fighting the good fight. For more on the 'the good fight' see the links and icons below:

B'Tselem is an Israeli Human Rights group that has put cameras in the hands of average Palestinians, and uploaded this footage to the Internet for the world to see, in order that those of us not in a position to experience and understand what is occuring on the ground in the Occupied Territories can do so to some extent at least. The following footage is from B'Tselem:
"Yifat Alkoby, a Jewish settler from the Hebron settlement of Tel Rumeida, is seen assaulting and swearing at women and girls from the neighboring Abu-'Ayesha family, who were forced to build a metal cage around their home to protect themselves from the repeated and violent attacks by Jewish settlers."
"The Abu Aisha family in Hebron has been suffering at the hands of their neighbors from the nearby Jewish settler community of Tel Rumeida for a long time now. A video filmed by 16-year-old Raja Abu Aisha and obtained by B'Tselem depicts a confrontation with a woman resident of the Ramat Yishai neighborhood in Tel Rumeida."
"Lethal Ambiguity: Israeli Soldiers Talk about the Rules of Engagement.
'The bottom line is that the orders are unclear. They are confusing. And when orders are unclear, people die.'"
Amendment 1: "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances."
Who I'd like to meet: It's not "who I'd like to meet" rather it's who I'd like you to meet. However, in the case of the outgoing presidential administration of George W. Bush and his boss, Dick Cheney, I still would like those two dirty war criminal pigs to meet that little place they call The Hague, and with any luck subsequent life in prison and possibly executed, a fair trial ought to reveal that with no problem. Anyways, don't bother with the MySpace headings, they are not really broad enough, so have a look around to your comfort, not the comfort of MySpace, that is more like restraints ... enjoy.
