We now have pointed MICHAEL ZAWADZKI as LEAD VOCALIST. The band is very happy with there new singer and has filled the hole that was keep the band from gigging. Now they have a gig booked and hopefully will be back on the road soon.

20.5.08
We have been auditioning a number of vocalists over the last few months and hopefully have found that right one. We shall update you as soon as we can but we have very high hopes.

25.3.08
After Many Months of Being Stuck in a Rut because of Ewoks Departure, Martin Auditioned and is now holds the place of rhyhtm guitarist, we have yet to find a Lead Vocalist but have high hopes.

17.11.07
Matt Turner (Ewok) left the band. He was a great front man with a powerful voice and a great ability to write lyrics. The time he had in the band was an enjoyable time and some good songs came out at this time. The Wind And The Rain, To Slay A Beast naming a few. The band wishes him a great future with what ever he will be doing even if its not singer.

4.09.07
The band just finished recording the first two tracks of what is to be a 5 track demo cd. The session turned to be a huge success as each member got an awesome sound on the two tracks recorded. The tracks will be uploaded on 5th September so check back then to crank up your speakers and have a listen!! The band looks forward to going into the studio again to record the final 3 tracks in a few months time.

10.07.07
Anti-Fashion booked two days in the Eastbournes Serafina Studios On 3rd and 4th September, to record there two tracks. Metal-Mageddon and To Slay a Beast on CD. They hope to put them both on here as soon as they have them.

13.07.07
Anti-Fashion played a 15 minute set at the De La Warr, this chance was given to them by Live in The Valley/Rhythmix, thanks to Ian Barnett. This was a great experience for the band and a major leap for Ewok as this was only his second gig!!! The band got a decent response from the audience. The band thanks the people who did actually show up and gave support.

27.05.07
Anti-Fashion opened the Day Of Metal at The Tubman. They really got the crowd going with their rich riffs, strong tone from both guitars, pounding drums and the epic lyrics written by new member Matt Turner. The gig was an outstanding show and all of the bands made this day one hell of a show.

28.04.07
Matt (Ewok) Turner joins Anti-Fashion after an intense audition and prevailed to take the position of Lead Vocalist. 27th May at The Tubman is going to be his debut gig so come along and give him some support.

Anti-Fashion

About Us
ANTI-FASHION a HEAVY/THRASH METAL band was formed after an intense drinking session of 'RUSSIAN ROULETTE' in the SOUTH OF ENGLAND. They all have a gift in playing their musical instrument's and bonded as a band in the very first few minutes of being in the same room together. They have set themselves a goal, to bring back the HEAVY/THRASH METAL SCENE. Their riffs and lyrics are very close to those powerful/punching ones of such bands as TESTAMENT, MEGADETH, METALLICA, IRON MAIDEN, SLAYER ETC.

ANTI-FASHION is a quartet of YOUNG MUSICIANS from the SOUTH OF ENGLAND.
MICHAEL ZAWADZKI (LEAD VOCALS)
BEN TAYLOR (LEAD GUITAR),
WILL BROWN (BASS GUITAR/BACKGROUND VOX),
MARTIN CLOAD (RHYHTM GUITAR),
GUY SMITH (DRUMS),

They all have had their ups and downs with FORMER BAND MEMBERS but are now at there PEAK and going for the BIG ONE!

WE'RE WILLING TO TAKE ANY GIG'S, so please DO NOT HESITATE to contact US: anti-fashion@hotmail.co.uk

Write-Ups/Reviews

“A group of young, extremely talented musicians, with one aim - to bring back the heavy/thrash metal scene, and if anyone's going to do it, its these guys. Powerful riffs, epic lyrics and a tight professional sound, these boys are old school metal in the new era, at it's best.” - Hastings Observer

“ANTI-FASHION, Old style RAWK, Big hair and Very fast guitar.” - Live In The Valley

Thanx guys, i'm glad that your band is coming together nicely.
The drummer that normally interupts your jam with me is from my old band (State Of Miasma) as we still jam occasionly, it was a bit heavier than radial path but glad you like whats goin on. Check out untitled, it's probably our heaviest song so far!

Have a good week, probably see you at the rooms soon!
