With this album the band is in no way inferior to likeminded bands like Rise Against, Strike Anywhere and Hot Water Music. The political punk with a raw edge is catchy and contagious. It makes you want to mosh and sing along. Punk has seldom sounded so inspired. An album for the year lists! I doubt the new Anti-Flag album will be a match for this album. 97/100
Antillectual is a punkrock trio from Nijmegen, the Netherlands. Antillectual is one of the hardest working punkrock bands in Europe. Since 2005 the band released 2 full-lengths and 2 EP’s all over the world, did 3 USA tours and countless Euro tours. Antillectual will record a new full length this winter.

Antillectual releases its debut full length “Silencing Civilization” in 2005 The debut album gets a lot of critical acclaim and gives Antillectual the opportunity to tour Europe and the USA. Antillectual plays energetic live shows that inspire a lot of people. In total the band played over 500 shows spread out over 3 USA-tours and dozens of Euro-tours. Besides touring the USA Antillectual toured almost every European country.

flights home were fine, but on our drive upstate, someone smashed into chris's car and drove off... we waited on the side of the highway for a cop for 2 hours only to find out the car's liscense plate was "surrendered" and they will never catch him...
either way the tour was amazing, we miss you guys already!!!
