La música de la banda formada por Mario Duarte (bajo), Daniel Vega (guitarra eléctrica) y Felipe Sáenz (batería) demuestra una sólida composición y diversos ambientes en sus temas. Antimateria despliega una fusión instrumental de estilos como blues, jazz, y rock progresivo incorporando algunos instrumentos poco usuales en su música como es el caso del didgeridoo.
Formada en el año 2004, Antimateria cuenta con un amplio curríclum de presentaciones en vivo, entre las cuales destaca la apertura del concierto de la reconocida agrupación inglesa Ozric Tentacles, el 8 de abril del 2005 en el anfiteatro del InBio Parque. Cabe mencionar presentaciones con el guitarrista norteamericano Jason Jenkins y con el grupo progresivo mexicano Cabezas de Cera.
Actualmente Antimateria esta en proceso de grabación en estudio y paralelamente composición de temas nuevos.
The music of the band formed by Mario Duarte (bass), Daniel Vega (guitar) and Felipe Saenz (drums) shows a strong composition and a wide range of musical ambiances in their songs. Antimateria deploys an instrumental fusion of different styles such as blues, jazz and progressive rock incorporating in their music unusual instruments as it is the case of the didgeridoo.
Formed in 2004, Antimateria has a wide curriculum of live shows in which it is important to mention their act as openers to the well known British band Ozric Tentacles on April 8th, 2005 in the amphitheatre of the Inbio Park, as well as some presentations with the north American guitarist Jason Jenkins and the presentation with the Mexican band Cabezas de Cera.
Nowadays, Antimateria is in the process of recording and at the same time in the composition of new tracks.
