About me: My name is Karee and I am a perpetual slacker with goals of someday gaining acceptance into a respectable university's graduate program for Gender and/or Sexuality Studies. I am a recent grad from Indiana University with a BA in Womens Studies; my primary area of interest is the topic of Transgender Studies, gender identity and representation, and gender advocacy. I'm looking at Ohio State for grad school, provided I can get my arse in gear.
I have recently resigned from the Board of Directors of the GLBT Resource Center of Michiana. It is a non-profit organization in Northern Indiana that seeks to meet the needs of the gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender population. We are an established community center with a variety of programs for men, women, youth, trans, HIV/AIDS prevention and support.
