In a perfect world we would give all our music away for free and survive on touring revenue, merchandising and licensing income. Alas this is not always possible. In order to eat we have to sell a few CD’s. The good news is that all tracks on this site have been released under this creative commons license http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/3.0/ We have made many Antiqcool songs freely downloadable for a reason, we want you to spread them around. We are an independent record label not a big bad corporation who wants to sue you for file sharing, quite the reverse, file sharing is exactly what we want you to do.
If you like one of our songs tweet about it, blog about it, link to it on your Facebook page, your Myspace page, or any other page you can think of. Place one of our widgets on your blog (available here http://www.reverbnation.com/antiqcool (Just hit the embed button above the track list)
Put it in your podcast, play it on your radio station, Stick it on your ipod, play it to your friends, your cat, your dog or your pet hamster (not too loud they have sensitive ears).
The next Antiqcool CD "Resonant String Theory" is now being recorded. As each new track from the album is completed it will be uploaded to Last FM. Listeners will be the first to hear these new songs ahead of the official release date. We hope you enjoy listening and we look forward to reading your comments. Hmmm....a few changes being made, my apologies for any confusion. A shortened EP version of "Resonant String Theory" has now been released, The complete album will be released at a later date, just click on the buy link here http://www.last.fm/music/ANTIQCOOL/Resonant+String+Theory and go to Amazon. If you can afford it you can help feed Antiqcool (currently dressed in rags and rummaging through other people's dustbins in search of snacks). If you can't afford to pay you can download tracks for free here or at various other sites on the interweb. If you would prefer to cough up your money for a worthier cause you can purchase the first two Antiqcool CD's "Digging For Gold" and "Songs of Hope and Despair" buy links here http://www.last.fm/music/ANTIQCOOL/SONGS+OF+HOPE+AND+DESPAIR 100% of artist profits will be donated to GOSH.... thanx for the friend request!! great sound...and i love your description... reminds me of mine: What if Joni Mitchell got together with Leonard Cohen for a writing session at the coffeehouse where Counting Crows and Neil Young were playing, Jan Krist was singing, Tori & Fionna were pouting, Over The Rhine & Aimee Mann opened, and Santana stopped by to play some smokin' guitar... yeah, it sounds something like that... making music, marianne www.pearinthepinkthing.com
