Justin's Interests
|
| General | I'm actively into photography(I take the pictures); I write creatively and go to school for Creative Writing; I love to have a pint of Guinness with friends, but a good domestic beer isn't bad, either...I guess; video games are cool; movies are a good pass-time; thinking also passes a few hours; cycling is good exercise; people are ALWAYS fun to talk to; reading, of course; technology; politics is great for a laugh. Summer camping is the best. Hiking is all-consuming, and rock-climbing is something that I can't get enough of(I don't yet do it professionally, but I will). That's all I can think of. NEXT | | Music | When I say that I listen to everything, I literally listen to something from every genre that I have ever known. Give me oldies, jazz, country, metal, rock&roll, classical, acoustic, new age, screamo, emo, INCUBUS(because they are a genre all their own), techno, house, trance, electronica, ska, tribal, reggae, and whatever the hell else you can think of. If we're getting specific, however, I "prefer" a certain few bands/performers: INCUBUS as previously mentioned is my favourite band of all time, Chevelle, Fall Out Boy, Panic! At The Disco, Mudvayne, Slipknot, My Chemical Romance, Muse, Pulse Ultra, Blackeyed Peas, Bloodhound Gang, Tenacious D(Still the best band ever), Jack Johnson, Audioslave, John Mayer, Damien Rice, Neverending White Lights(he's from Windsoria, like me), System of a Down, American Head Charge, etc.
I have to give props to my musical friends, too: Matt Olewski, Laura Hall, Deborah Power, Katie McCulough, Kaiser Marogi, and anyone else who has talent with music. | | Movies | Well, ya see...I like movies for different reasons...inexplicable reasons, even...Here's a few: What the Bleep Do We Know?, The Matrix, all Star Wars(even Jar Jar Binx), Before Sunrise, Waking Life, Fight Club, Boondock Saints, Old School, The Goonies(A CLASSIC), Fifth Element, Ninja Turtles 1,2,3, All Disney Movies, Ghost In The Shell, Lord of the Rings 1,2,3, Equilibrium, Donnie Darko, Spider-man 1&2, Anchorman(In fact, if it has Will Ferrel, I like it), School of Rock, Orange County, etc. Another unending list. | | Television | Television, like the internet, is the devil. So, like the internet, I can't get enough of it.
Mostly stuff on the Discovery Channel, Comedy Network, TLC, Spike. Star Treks ROCK, I don't care what anyone says. America's Funniest Videos is filled with fuckin hilarious videos. Scrubs is awesome. Teachers is awesome. Lost is great, but I really need to catch up. I hear that The OC is alright, but I've never watched it; maybe it's on at the same time as Mythbusters. | | Books | Ironically enough, I don't get to read all that much except for school. Maybe I just don't make enough time for it; though I really enjoy it.
A few of my favourite reads: White Noise by Don Delilo, Lord of the Rings trilogy, Celestine Prophecy, all of Dan Brown's books, books by Orson Welles, H.G. Wells, Micheal Crichton, Lewis Carroll's Through the Looking Glass and Alice's Adventures In Wonderland, C.S. Lewis' Narnia books, Crucible of Time.
A few poets I really enjoy: John Donne, Christian Bok, e.e. cummings, Keats, Creative Writing classmates. | | Heroes | My Grandpa, first and foremost; he taught me everything that a good person should be. And my folks, of course.
Albert Einstein is a hero that everyone should idolize...IN FACT, he's my new deity! All praise be to Al! Spider-man is a good person to look up to, but NOT Peter Parker. Peter Parker is a pussy. Batman is just KICKASS, in every way. I even look up to Bruce Wayne for being such a rich mofo, AND going out and taking his frustrations out on the criminalia. I mean, face it: deep down, we ALL wish we could be badass vigilantes like Batman, or anyone of the protagonists in Sin City--I'd be Marv, cuz he's a brutal motherfucker with a heart of gold.
Al Bless You. |

About me:
I love puppies, kittens, children, and anything small and helpless...that is, unless it is one of those retarded "toy" type animals---the kind of pet that you carry in a purse, which has no other redeeming value than the fact that it is tiny. I guess what I'm trying to say is I want to explore the world! I plan to travel to faraway places and see strange things, and maybe even be bitten by something exotic! Then I could say "KREIKY" in context, just like that nutter, Steve Irwin. I shall travel to Hawaii, and fulfill my lifelong dream; throwing a rock into a pit of molten lava. Then, since there are no more dinosaurs, I shall see the next best thing---a Great White Shark! That's right! A monstrous, carnivorous fish with teeth that could shave closer than a 5-blade razor. Basically, a swimming mouth. I guess what I'm trying to say is that I want to start a family and settle down. I could build a house in the woods, get back to my natural roots. I could pick berries from the bush, and kill for food. I'd learn from the wild, and pass on my wisdom to my children. I guess what I'm trying to say is that I hate writing profiles, and I like to waste time. That is all...
