Thrashing songs of corruption. Buzzcock style melodies with songs like "Friend". The epic song hardcore score "Dead Fly" warps your brain and wraps up this ep. ASD's new drummer Shawn Grzyb was added to the line-up in 1989. Along with him came a new sound for the band that extended into some of the most creative punk rock in Detroit. Electric drum pads were added to this recording which gave it an explosive sound with an industrial edge. The whole band had taken on a new sound and makes this recording very unique.

Anti Social Degenerates was founded in 1987. The bands original line up had Vern Obnoxious - vox, Jerry Wolny - guitar, D. Bing - bass and Steve Kearns - drums. Four local punx from the east side of metro Detroit ranging from 14-16 years old. The band shredded the border between 80's american hardcore and 80's UK/European anarcho punk. Driven by distortion, blast beats and social rebellion with songs never exceeding 90 minutes of ferocious hardcore. Anti Social Degenerates have been firmly planted in the Motor City DIY punk rock underground and have excecuted it's methodology throughout all there endevours for the past 22 years know. There anti-establishment political platform developed during the Reagan administration and thrashed into the dark ages of hardcore punk. The band put out five politically charged cassette's from 1987 to 1991. It was obvious the hardcore scene moved on by that time. The band split in half to pursue numerous Detroit punk rock, crust & post punk bands over the next 15 years. Anti Social Degenerates re-launched it's original line up to play with NYHC legends Murphy's Law in 2006. Evolved with age, talent and the impact of politics that directly effected there domestic lives, this band is more relevant then ever. 2007's full length "From chaos to whenever" seen a the introduction of ASD's new guitarist Side Show Bob. His axe murdering style really distinguished the record. We found the 4rth Degenerate in Angry Arron who appears on 2008's 7 inch "Democracy Reloaded". With the line up enhanced the band has proven to still be a prominent voice of the 99%. A Pro-active DIY collective striving to unite an underground and create a voice for the community. Assulting the facade played on the American people. Striving to get people out of there comfort zones and scream "NO MORE!". ASD is Harder, heavier, faster and louder then ever. Anti Social Degenerates have evolutionized there anarcho - anti establishment, anti-fascist political stance and is uncomprimising. Anarchy = Equality. NO MASTER'S.
