We're Antler, aka Vanessa Hanson (songs, voice, six-string banjo, sometimes electronics and drums) and Colleen Costello (voice, electronics, drums, songs, and sometimes six-string banjo).
We believe in the magic of live performance, in the beauty and mystery of static and noise on old recordings. We love old-time music and old country, and we like ours with moody ambient noise and attitude.
The tracks on our page are a sampling of what will be on our album. They were recorded over two days live off the floor in Vanessa's living room through one condenser mic onto tape.
