With three albums of original material released to critical acclaim, two live performance DVDs, and more than 15 million views on YouTube, Antoine Dufour has emerged as a young star of fingerstyle acoustic guitar, building a worldwide reputation for innovation and creativity.
Antoine has toured across Canada, Europe, the UK and several times in the USA in solo and with other artists such as Don Ross and Andy McKee. In addition, Antoine has performed at major festivals such as The International Montreal Jazz Festival.
Antoine won the first prize at the Canadian Fingerstyle Guitar Championships and placed third at the International Fingerpicking Championships in Winfield, Kansas. He also has held seminars, workshops and masterclasses as part of his tour schedule.
His music is getting airplay on national radio stations in Canada and has reached more than 600,000 plays on his myspace page.
Antoine has given many interviews for major magazines in the USA, Japan, China, Europe and on the internet.
His fans have recorded countless covers of his music on YouTube and his fan base is as loyal and ravenous to see him perform as any artist out there today.
