ANTOINE PIERRE;
Après une enfance consacrée à écouter les disques de ses parents, à souffler dans un saxophone et taper sur des tonneaux de lessive, Antoine Pierre commence la batterie à l'âge de 12 ans. Désireux de transformer le bruit qu'il produit en musique, il consulte ses ainés: Antoine Cirri, Stephane Galland, Xavier Rogé, Lionel Beuvens, Nathalie Loriers, Jozef Dumoulin, Fabian Fiorini, ou encore Antonio Sanchez,...
A partir de 2008, il décide de jouer ce qu'il a mis sur papier avec d'autres musiciens: il crée le Metropolitan Laboratory avec qui il aura l'occasion de jouer notamment au festival Jazz à Liège, au Dima Jazz Festival (Algérie), au Comblain Jazz Festival (où le groupe obtiendra le prix jeune talent).
Antoine a maintenant l'honneur de se produire avec des musiciens tels Alain Pierre, Sam Gerstmans, Barbara Wiernik, Philip Catherine, Philippe Aerts, Enrico Pieranunzi, Greg Houben, Steve Houben, Fabian Fiorini, Olivier Stalon, Guillaume Vierset, Felix Zurstrassen, Igor Gehenot ...
Sa constante recherche pour de nouvelles palettes sonores et rythmiques lui permettra de remporter le prix du meilleur soliste au festival de Comblain 2009 et le prix du meilleur soliste au Brussels Jazz Marathon 2010
