Antonio Ferlito was born in Catania, Italy in 1972 and he lives in Acireale (CT). After achieving the A level in arts at the Arts Lyceum of Acireale, he went to study in Reggio Calabria, Italy, where he finally achieve the Diploma of music theory and solfege at the Reggio Calabria Conservatorium in 1995. Next he enrolled at the Groningen Conservatorium in Holland where he was awarded the higher national diploma of jazz guitar in 1999. during its studies in the Dutch city he attended more than 60 seminars held by world master lectures and musicians. The subjects of the jazz guitar Diploma are teaching and music playing. In 1999 he obtains a three weeks studentship to attend the Drummer collective in New York. 1995 Diploma in Theory and Solfeggio at the Classic Conservatorium Francesco Cilea, Reggio Calabria, Italy. 1995 - 1999 Diploma in Jazz guitar at the Groningen Conservatorium (NL).
In 1996 antonio Ferlito plays with the American trumpeters Tom Kirkpatrick. In 2002 he perform with:

Antonio!.... I hope things are going well for you. Not for me. I am closing my photography studio. I'm just going into deeper and deeper debt, trying to keep it open, when there is no business. This area is really doing badly economically, since Obama was elected...but you won't hear that because the media, here, in the US is all for him...no matter what. Meanwhile, everyone is losing their jobs, businesses are closing, and ...the media keeps talking about how great things are for the future.
Anyway...I have to figure out something else to do to pay the bills. Too bad I'm not over there, and maybe doing some playing! None to be found here!
