Music
As Miles Davis (also attributed to Duke Ellington) once said: "There are only two kinds of music...good and bad

Movies
"Destino" (An unfinished animation by Walt Disney and Salvador Dalí)
Comedies (but not black or macabre humor)...and on a different note some exceptional Sci-Fi and Monster movies
I choose not to watch movies where animals are killed for real, especially if this cruelty is part of the script and not just an accident. I strongly denounce Park Chanwood, Coen brothers, and González Iñárritu among others for frequently including actual killing or torturing of animals as part of their films. It is very sad that these pathetic attempts at cinematography usually receive numerous awards just beacuse of the money they generate at the box office. Please consider this, boycott these "artists".
Television
There are more important things in my life than Television...For example Animal Rights, a particularly critical issue in Perú.
ANTONIO … guitarist, traveler, citizen of the world
After reading Aldous Huxley's "The Doors Of Perception" he started a quest that took him to the New York's Village in the 60's, his initiation in the mysteries of the ayahuasca ritual in the Amazone Jungle, and after years of experimentation, including some incursions in territories where shadows hid behind exotic and exuberant masks, he discovered more subtle and natural ways of exploring the mind...meditation and other internal practices.
He's been playing acoustic and electric guitars since age 14. After studying Flamenco with members of the Amaya family, he took up electric music. His musical career started in Perú, then moved to the US where, using the stage name Antonio De Luna for a few years, he toured extensively with Fusion bands, including the Portland,OR band Upepo (recently inducted in the Hall of Fame) and the San Francisco,CA based quintet Kasbah. There were also many acoustic guitar recitals, in which Antonio blended elements of Classical, Flamenco and Bossa Nova to create his own themes. Most memorable is his concert at the St. Quentin State Prison in California. After that... Brazil,The Canary Islands, Sweden, and many places in between...
He launched his Classical guitar solo CD Guitar Music.in 2001, while residing in Los Angeles.
In 2002 he returned to Lima, Perú where he founded the group DON GATO,
an eclectic band which in 2005 published its highly acclaimed CD ¡Zas!, and whose goals are beyond making good music and has a commitment to a number of causes, including the protection of the environment, spiritual awareness, animal rights, gender politics, and sending a message of hope to those with drug problems. Antonio has conducted music workshops in one of Lima's drug rehabilitation centers and Don Gato performs regularly at benefit concerts in favor of a greater awareness of the importance of a clean environment. ELAINE & ANTONIO
In 2008, Antonio returned to the USA and traveled to Kansas City in order to marry international soprano Elaine Cormany, who now is a brand new member of DON GATO as vocalist and keyboardist. They are now working on new projects as the group lives on through its endless journey in time and space.
Stay tuned!!!
