Originally from the Netherlands, Anton Roolaart grew up listening to all kinds of music from classical to rock, ambient, and pop. Over the years he has embraced symphonic rock for many of his own compositions. The music he writes introduces the listener to musical landscapes painted by his insightful tunes and melodies which are put together keenly onto his musical canvas. His music appeals to older fans of the genre, yet also brings fresh new sounds and ideas that appeal to newer listeners of the genre. Anton is an accomplished composer and songwriter. He embraces the guitar as his main instrument, but also uses the many wonderful sounds of the electronic keyboard for his arrangements and orchestration.
His debut CD "Dreamer" was released by Umbrello Records in April 2007. Anton arranged and produced the CD himself. The album has received many positive reviews and is available in Europe and USA, as well as CDBABY.
The following wonderful musicians worked with Anton on Dreamer: Rich Berends (Mastermind), Rave Tesar (Annie Haslam/Renassaince) and Charles Descarfino (Broadway and Annie Haslam), and his friend Vinnie Puryear (Bass).

The artwork for "Dreamer" was done by the talented illustrator and artist Michael Phipps. The painting was done on consignment and is based on lyrics from the album.
