Anton’s Blindness, the name is derived from a rare symptom of brain damage called the Anton-Babinski syndrome. The sufferer has damage that causes loss of vision, though the victim will deny the vision loss due to confabulation (confusing imagination with memory). That’s the approach they took to their sound, something familiarthough without boundaries
and outside the contemporary and beyond the"norm". Raw power and soaring beauty blended to produce a new breed of rock. The band’s eclectic and diverse influences have shaped a sound all its own.

Vocalist Kim Lotus is blessed with a powerful and beautiful voice. Her lyrics only outdone by the gorgeous melodies they are sung to. Guitarist Bodah plays with raw emotion, playing double duty of rhythm and lead, truly complimenting the wholeness of the band. Percussion provided by Jonny Roboto, a metronome on steroids, pounding out rhythms with skill, precision, and a creative flow rare amongst skin hitters.
