“Joyspreader” is a high-energy, addictive adult-rock CD. Micheal Helm’s edgy and effectively expressive vocals infuse these tunes with an uncommon level of life and vitality. The ready-for-radio “Ephemeral” is a contagious get-up-and-groove track, flaunting audacious electric guitar arrangements. “I-40” does a great job in embodying the excitement associated with its theme of running away for thrills. Other outstanding tracks include the semi-mellow “Rock and Roll Girls” and the very loud “Glenn.” This CD truly delivers great adult rock tunes song after song, all characterized by memorable, climactic choruses, and fervent vocal performances.
