Heroes
Pretty much every human being involved with making the world a place worth living in (Yeah, I know that's a bit trite, but I can't think anything really clever to say here that would cover it). Also I would like to include Groucho Marx, Mrs. Evelyn Sims (my creative writing teacher back in high school), Benjamin Franklin, Alan Sokal
A. A. Scribe, The Other Anthony Anderson is getting back in the groove of online life after being cut off from the Internet for a few weeks. Posted at 11:14 PM Nov 25 view more
About me: Hi. I'm Anthony Anderson. I tend to write stuff that comes out of my head. My blog, for example.
The current focus of my life is getting my writing polished and published. I'm currently working on something called "Maid of Honor" (tentative title) I guess some people would call it a "contemporary fantasy" novel.
It may or may not be to your taste. If you're curious, here's Chapter 1 1.
I write other things besides fantasy and science fiction, such as blogs like this ’un and that ’un and another ’un right here.
But the fantasy and SF are sort of like default modes as far as my fiction is concerned and "Maid of Honor" has been sitting around in my head for the longest.
As for me, what can I say about myself that the little boxes to the left haven't already covered? They'll probably give you the best insight about what goes on in my head, most notably the book list. I also bought a subscription to REASON magazine that won't expire until March 2010. Politically, I lean more toward libertarianism, but I'm reluctant to commit myself 100% to any political party. In fact, I sometimes get suspicious about my OWN ideas. Maybe that'll give you a bit more insight; maybe not.
As for my blog, I'll do my best to make sure it will be interesting for at least one other sentinent being besides myself. Yeah, I know it's suppose to be all about self-expression and what-not, but if my writing was going to be just for me, I'd just skip the whole blogging business and buy me a diary, now wouldn't I?
Who I'd like to meet: As the little box says, I'm single, but I haven't really given too much thought to a serious relationship. I'm really too engaged in my writing to get into one just now.
Those hoping for such in spite of the previous paragraph should be know that I feel I express myself better with the written word than I do with the spoken. Those of you who don't like reading are not going to like dealing with me online. Just a few words of warning.
Anyone who can hold an intelligent conversation is welcome to contact me. I'm especially interested in women with high I.Q.'s or at the very least ones who are intellectually curious.
And while you're here, why not check out some of the other writers, artists, and music groups on my friends list and comment section (Not just my top 40; I think I too many interesting folks here to fit up front). You just might find something you like.

Well, my books started off as an idea for a short story I was going to just write out real quick. So, hang onto that hope that it'll go quickly. You're going to need it.
