Born in Hastings, East Sussex England to Bohemian parents, father a classical composer and mother a budding starlet, Antonia found herself here, there and everywhere as the parentals managed their careers and 5 children!
Father was choir director in every town and so Antonia soon learned to "sing out" a clear soprano to the Messiah or some Requiem. She ended up in America - Los Angeles to be exact and started pounding on the Musical Theatre doors, performing in such shows as "Sweet Charity", "Little Mary Sunshine", "Jesus Christ Superstar" and "Side by Side by Sondheim". After being sent on an audition in Silverlake, she landed herself a job as
"ELVETTE, GLADYSITA" in the "ELVEZ Gospel Show" and toured all over the United States and Canada playing almost a state a day. It wasn't any Sunday Gospel Brunch either!!! From platform shoes and rubber dresses to playing "Hermione" for the Harry Potter toys, Antonia has had an eclectic career so far. Next up was touring and singing for KATRINA CARLSON. The band opened for "Chicago" and "Joan Jett" and continues to play across the country. Recently, they opened for Rick Springfield at the Wiltern. Life on the road! Back home, Topanga is where she has set her roots. TOPANGA, the beautiful historical canyon where Joni Mitchell, Little Feat, Woody Guthrie to name a few all hung out in a time when it was "all about the music man" When in town, Antonia continues to make her own music playing the local scene, Ladies of the Canyon at Froggys in Topanga, Genghis Cohen, Molly Malones. Perhaps you've seen her?

I am producing another cool compilation fund-raiser CD for the Topanga Community House. And your music might be right for this project. But I can't even consider your music, if I don't have one of your CDs.
This is a collection of local Topanga bands, so at least one member of your group needs to be currently living in Topanga, to be considered for this CD.
Can you PLEASE send me your CD to my POBox 1421, Topanga, CA. 90290, so that I can see if its right for this project. No one is gonna get paid for this fund raiser, including me, but it is for a worthy cause!
Its going to be a fun, up-beat, dancey collection of local bands from Topanga.
The earlier one I produced: "Topanga, Music Of The Mountains" was filled with 18 ballads and mellow tunes, and sold over 700 copies so far, raised over $7,000, and gave all those artists great exposure for them and their music & websites, and is still available at Mimosas, Topanga HomeGrown, Hela Bela, and other locations around town.
