About me:
Enki is a deity in Sumerian religion, also known as Ea in Babylon. The name Ea is of Sumerian origin and is written by means of two signs signifying "house" and "water". Enki is the deity of water, intelligence and creation. Enki allowed humanity to survive the Deluge, designed to kill them. After Enlil, An and the rest of the apparent Council of Deities, decided that Man would suffer total annihilation, he covertly rescued the human man Ziusudra by either instructing him to build some kind of a boat for his family, or by bringing him into the heavens in a flying boat. This is apparently the oldest surviving source of the Noah's Ark story and other parallel Middle Eastern Deluge writings. Enki is the god of life and replenishment, and is often depicted with streams of water emanating from his shoulders. Alongside him are trees symbolising the male and female aspects of nature, each holding the male and female aspects of the 'Life Essence', which he, as alchemist of the gods, would masterfully mix to create several beings that would live upon the face of the Earth.
Enki suggested that a Primitive Worker, an Adamu, be created that could take over the work of mining gold for The Annunaki. Enki pointed out that a primitive humanoid (what we call Homo erectus, or a closely related humanoid) was quite prevalent in the Abzu (Africa) where they worked. He said "Why don't we bind upon it the image of the gods in order to give it the intelligence and ability to carry out the mining for us." The Assemble of The Great Anunnaki liked this idea and approved it. Thus the decision to develop humans to work as slaves was made.
Enki was put in charge of the creation of an Adamu, a primitive worker, that would assume the difficult work of mining for the Anunnaki.
