Anvue is an acoustic driven, four piece folk rock band from Los, Angeles, Ca. Their music is sweet melodies of hope that steal the heart's attention. A positive message within powerful songs. The band is 2008 Mavric Award winners of the best acoustic song of the year for their song "Absolutely Yours". Their sound is simply: sweet melodies of faith, hope, and love. They share timeless truths in an authentic & uplifting way. More About Anvue... the band name is pronounced- ann-view and it is a word that the lead singer, Sarah Rollins was inspired to make up to best describe what the band's music is about. Anvue means a new view of life and the things to come. The band is always changing & growing... they have made two 7 song ep's. The first EP was finished in December 2007 and is entitled, "Revelation(s)". The second EP was finished in July 2009 and is entitled, "7 Trees". They've played at the following venues: Spirit West Coast Monterey, Joshua Festival, The Canyon Club, the Vine @ Shepherd of the Hills Church, The Pig'n Whistle, Simi Valley Days Carnival (mainstage), Durango Songwriter's Expo, Undergrounds CoffeeHouse, "Wonderfully Made" Fashion Show at Calvary Chapel Nexus Camarillo, Calvary Chapel Camarillo, Unplugged Middle School events @ Shepherd of the Hills Church, Staying True Girl's Conference, Starbucks, It's A Grind Coffee Shop, La Habra Foursquare Mission Church, Antioch CoffeeHouse, Borders Bookstore, Moorpark Relay for Life, Church of the Living Christ, private events/parties/weddings, and more...
