About TOM COLLINS:
This Alphabet City Renowned Computer Genius/Revolutionist (Thomas B. Collins) has just returned from a not-so-pleasant semester at MIT. His theory of Actual Reality has been rejected by the board and now his crusade to raise world awareness about such plights as homelessness and HIV/AIDS is taking the Lower East Side by storm.
Now finding himself the victim of a Christmas Eve mugging, a distraught yet aware Collins is heard wailing and saved by good samaritan, Angel Dumott Schunard. Angel volunteers his services of healing and mercurocrome to the ailing Professor and the two go to Life Support, a group of friends lending support and understanding of HIV/AIDS.
Join Collins, Angel, and the rest of the Alphabet City Avant Garde in the timeless story of Love and the Pursuit of Understanding of RENT.
