a.k.a. a short recap from the start to where we are today
The story of Anydoll started in late summer 2005, when Madd and Chris spent some booze-boosted moments in a small apartment and probably drove the neighbourhood mad with an undetermined noise, nowadays known as Anydoll music.
Due to certain reasons it took almost a year to get things fixed so that Anydoll could be called a real rock band. At the time we had some twelve songs which we of course considered excellent. We recorded each and every one of those but soon began thinking “what the hell are we doing”… Finally, four of those songs ended up to the first Anydoll ep called When the Lines Are Broken, released in the spring 2007. Two more saw the daylight in the fall 2007 as we released the single Wash Away the Grief.
That was the first phase. It was the time we just played some rock without knowing where this all should be leading. What is Anydoll all about? Good news: we found it out.
Next Anydoll ep, Everything’s Fine?, was released in the spring 2008. It was the first step of “the” Anydoll. The songs were played on national TV and radio in Finland and gained reputation in many other ways too. Finally, we were on our way.
So, what is this thing all about? It’s about inventive Finnish rock music, best labelled as electro rock. It’s about taking two different worlds of music and mixing them to something new, fresh and exiting. It’s about live shows that really, truly will rock the guts out of you.
At the moment Anydoll is recording a new ep, Private Show. To be honest, we are already really fucking proud of that piece of a record. So, don’t forget to check that one out!

Cale’s narcotic classic, Black Robot serves instant notice with their self-titled debut that not only do they have it, they damn near destroyed the laboratory to get it.
