We are a 4-piece band born from the wonder that is the University of Kent, in Canterbury.
With all of us studying different subjects and from different musical backgrounds, it was always going to be interesting to see how we sounded.
The band consists of Nathan producing the sweet guitar licks, Tim on the earth trembling Bass, Amanda on vocal duties and in charge of band dignity, and Rich destroys drum kits for a living.
Getting together only weeks before our audition for the university's prestigious 'Keynestock' competition, we had it all to do, but with that now under our belts, and hopefully more gigs round the corner i was a great start to life in 'Any Other Day'.
Yeeeees! We made it onto the bill for Keynestock, and at about 2ish we rocked the place down. Playing covers of Placebo - Teenage Angst, Jimmy Eat World - Hear You Me, and The Killers - Mr Brightside, alongside 2 of our hastly put together, but pretty sweet original tracks. It was an absoloutely brilliant day, but hopefully it's just the start! Thanks to the JCC for putting on the festival, i dont think there was one person there who didn't enjoy themselves, and congratulations to the winners!
