The Gloucester City Irish Society and the City of Gloucester will be hosting the Shamrock Festival at Gloucester City’s historic “Proprietor’s Park & Marina,” which is favorably situated along the Delaware Waterfront at 225 South King Street in Gloucester City.
This year’s event features two continuous entertainment stages with LIVE Irish music by Black 47, Birnam Wood, Paddy’s Well, The Broken Shillelaghs, the Misty Dewars and the Camden County Emerald Society Pipe Band. The festival also includes children’s entertainment, craft and food vendors, a beer garden, and more.

A.O.H. division 25 wants you to know the Philadelphia Fraternal Order of Police is running a wiffle ball tourney that benefits the "Fallen Officers Funds." Here are the rules & info.
Info:
Saturday May 3rd @ the Fraternal Order of Police
4-man teams $40 per person/$160 per team
start 10:30am-rain date next day
36 team max & money due by April 21st holds your spot
Rules:
1.1 strike, 2 fouls is an out
2.3 inning games
3.double elimination
4.lob pitch only, no fastballs or curves
5.any tie after 3 innings goes extra innings & every hit is a run
6. if you lose a game 2 players must umpire next game
7.fielders only need to block the ball from going past single marker
8.all players must complete tourney to win prizes
9.first place prizes will be awarded at end of tourney
Your entry fee also covers beer & food for the day.
