"the aorta manifesto"
established in early 2004, the aorta journal was an unorthodox sound research group dedicated to the further development of modern extreme/experimental music. taking their name from a norwegian journal which compares pagan culture with black metal, the group itself was a similar ceremony of opposites, combining elements of many styles of sound to create an ever changing canvas of frenzied noise and a state of barely controlled chaos. a train wreck to some and a symphony to others, there were no boundaries or restrictions in the aorta journal.
