I have 4 children and 3 grand children whom I love very much, and a proud parent of my son who is in the Army, and a very strong supporter of all of our troops! My son is currently stationed in Iraq and is a soldier with the 101st Airborne!... I live for today because you never know what tomorrow will have in store for you! My most favorite thing to do is sit on the beach, and watch the big waves come crashing to the shoreline! I especially love to walk on the beach in the moonlight! I just love the serenity and tranquility of the ocean! Another thing I like to do is look for seashells! You never know what your gonna find! I also love to take pictures of the ocean and paint seascapes! If it has to do with water, I'm there!..Whether it be going to the beach, boating, which I absolutely love to do, fishing, sitting by the lake, watching waterfalls or catching tadpoles in a stream! And sometimes I just like it when its quiet and all I can hear are all of the wonderful sounds of nature, such as birds, insects, squirrels, racoons, and other sorts of animals!
As far as food goes, seafood is my favorite, especially Maryland Blue Crabs..steamed of course!..LOL! I also like to try different ethnic foods! My favorite animals are cats! I absolutely adore them! Each one is as different and unique as the other!
Another favorite thing I love to do is go to Pow Wows, collect Native American crafts and paintings and learn about different tribal cultures and language!
I would also like to have the opportunity to travel to other places I've never been before and try new and exciting things! Life is way too short to just sit around and let life pass you by!
I dedicate this song to my son's father, John Henry Miller who was a River Ratt in Vietnam and worked for the Coast Guard for 26 yrs before his untimely death due to a brain tumor!..May he rest in peace! I just know that he is standing beside his son Jesse in Iraq and protecting him along with Jesse's Grand Dad (Rest in Peace) who was a Battle of the Bulge, and Normandy Invasion Veteran of WW11!
Who I'd like to meet: "Someone who not judge me for every little nit picking thing I ever did wrong in my life! Someone who will love me unconditionally for the kind of person that I am and for the heart that I have! Someone who will love me no matter what..right or wrong, good, bad or indifferent, and be there for me whether I am up or down, and wrap their arms around me and hug me, when I need to cry! Someone who will lend an ear, when I need to talk about whats on my mind! I want to meet someone who will speak kind words to me while I'm alive, not when I'm dead and gone when it's too late. Someone who is big enough to apologize when they are wrong or insensitive, when they hurt my feelings! And lastly, someone who will not make me their whipping post just because they are having a bad freakin day! "GET MY POINT"
THE SOLDIERS MOTHERS CREED~~
I am the mother of an American Soldier.
I give my complete and unwavering support to my soldier. As my son serves the people of the United States, so I humbly offer up prayers for his safety and the safety and health of those he serves beside. I respect his choice to adhere to a strict moral code and a system of values that has preserved our country for over two centuries. I accept that my soldier's first duty is to his country and I understand that this sacrifice he willingly makes is what keeps our nation great.
I will never expect anything but the best from my soldier, for I know that he is capable. I know that a soldier's heart is true and strong, and that my soldier will endure.
I will never abandon my soldier, my son, my love. I will love him unconditionally. He will know I am there with him, even when he is alone. I am disciplined, emotionally and mentally tough, learning to wait for phone calls and letters or emails home.
I, like my soldier, am an expert. I stand ready to do whatever I can to let my son, my soldier, know that we are here for him, behind him, we love him and I will pray for the swift destruction of the enemies of our country. I am the person who stood guardian of this man who has become my soldier, now our guardian of freedom and the American way of life.
I am the mother of an American Soldier.

(Sorry this isn't personalized to every individual, I'm sending this out to EVERYONE on the site) While I'm in the process of doing some 'friend cleaning' see blog, I thought it might be a good time to ask those of you who *want* to be here to subscribe to my blog if you haven't already. Not at all necessary to not being deleted, Just thought I might as well get it all done at once, since the process is going to take some time. It may also be a good time for those who don't really support the PTSD cause and/or don't want to see pictures or comments like this to just go ahead and delete, cuz I can't run this site afraid of who I can send what comments to. I mean if you want to delete the comment, but keep me/the site/the cause, that's fine. I just want it to be abundantly clear, if it isn't already, this is and will remain an MJ judgment/hate free site. You don't have to like him....just keep the hate elsewhere. Thanks, I appreciate your understanding and patience during this transitional time.
