The Lazybabes formed around Chichester and Brighton during the summer 0f 2005 as an instrumental act. Things started off with a heavy, hard-funk sound before Daniela joined in 2006, when they started to mellow a little. Out went the distortion and in came the jazz chords and hip-hop bass lines. Still with aspects of the old style in the drumming and the funky guitar solos, the band started to find a laidback, soulful sound that they could call their own.
