A Penny for Jane is comprised of Anthony Valentino on Vocals, Denny Mishler on Lead Guitar, Chris Bitonti on Rhythm Guitar, Craig David on bass, and David Guzman on drums. Their style of music is an eclectic blend of genres, best described as Contemporary Indie/Alternapop.
In just six short months since the formation of the group, the have already caught the attention of the industry elite, performing shows opening for several A-list groups including Lifehouse, Vanessa Carleton, Paolo Nutini, Colbie Caillat, and Fuel. Their music has appeared on the WB, ABC, CBS, NBC, and Lifetime on shows like Smallville, The OC, Threat Matrix, and America's Top Model
With influences such as The Toms, Death Cab for Cutie, Queens of the Stone Age, Modest Mouse and Dashboard Confessional, A Penny For Jane appeals to a wide variety of audiences; from the hard rock set to fans of all things indie. As they put it, “We are not a band of trends. We are not a band of fad. We are a band that writes music as if it were used as a natural healer for the human soul.”
With this belief firmly in mind, the band is tracking their first EP in Las Vegas with the help of veteran musician and producer Mike Marsh who is also tackling drum duties and handling some vocal parts as well. The band is preparing to embark on a tour that spans the entire West Coast in the Fall of 2008.

Oh really? That's awesome, I'm about 15 minutes away from Pontiac. I've been to Detroit a few times for different festivals and stuff, its about an hour away. So Chris, hows life in Las Vegas been treating you? :) Obviously you've already got a good band going.
