A Perfect Friend released their selftitled debut album on Belgian
label STILLL this summer in Europe/US/Japan/China. Their homespun mix
of electronica, indie, post-rock and folk is a secret ready to be revealed.
The friendly duo consists of experimential musician C-J Larsgården and
indie/folk-songwriter Thomas Jonsson.
Their album was recorded early summer 2006, partly inside the studio,
partly outside on numerous field recording excursions. The result is
eight songs, from psychedelic folk tunes to deep suggestive electronica, a 45 minute indietronic experience. Sweet pop melodies,
purring cats, quacking ducks, glockenspiel and finger picked guitar are
streaming through warm layers of organic and electronic sounds. After
the recordings, Thomas and C-J has been busy with different projects but has
also been collecting ideas for new APF activities and the a new album Timber And Modern Ways" is finished and will most likely be released later 2008. (Don't miss out the two friends' selfreleased cdr with demos and outtakes - info below). When the first album was a secret meeting in the studio, the new material is written with touring in mind. A Perfect Friend has begun slowly to hit the road and recently appeared on CIMATICS07 in Brussels (BE)

Denver Jonsson (UK release early 2008). He has made over 250 shows and has toured in 14 countries. He's also working on the
first album "Arctic pt.1" as his second solo project Deer Theatre which will be released sometime next year. He also runs the 7"-label Going Places.
