About me:

BIO:
Aperture brings a unique melodic vibe to the table, with
lush atmosphere throughout his tunes. While stationed in New
Orleans, Louisiana with the Marine Corps Aperture met with a
local producer named 5.star, who served as a mentor in the
studio and introduced Aperture to another important colleague -
Outrage. The two helped Aperture draw on a deep musical
background which includes classical guitar, piano, clarinet, and
drum kit. The real progression occurred in Okinawa, Japan - where
Aperture lived for an entire year. Focusing on defining his own
sound, he returned to the states and founded Autumn along
with Texas' Lost Prophet and Sol.ID. The melodies that resulted
caught the ear of the owner of Fokuz Recordings, who released 10
Autumn tunes and more recently a tune with Toronto's Mutt.
Recently making a departure from Autumn, Aperture has put his
energy into his solo projects, becoming the first person in the US
to be signed to Paradox's renowned Paradox Music and Outsider
imprints. He was also featured as the first artist to release for the
re-launch of stateside giant Breakbeat Science.
More recently, Aperture has been working with an extremely talented
group of artists, launching Whisper Audio with Outrage and Kirsty
Hawkshaw as an outlet for vocal drum and bass, as well as being
a member of the J-Tek crew alongside Outrage, Modular, Digital, and
the original jungle don, Randall. Aperture has also received airplay on
Bailey's BBC 1Xtra show as well as support on the DJ circuit from
Paradox, Storm, Digital, Spirit, Randall, Outrage, and Flight, A-Sides,
Gremlinz, and Mutt.
Be prepared for big things from Aperture in late 2008, as a solo artist
and as a part of many collaborations with some of drum and bass's
best talent (including Outrage, Digital, Insight, Kirsty Hawkshaw,
and the lovely Ill-Esha), with more quality relases on Whisper Audio,
Paradox Music, Outsider, Timeless, and Warm Communications.
