11/05/09 What's new? I'm working some things out to put out a new video soon. My desire for this next video is to speak in detail about Aphesis. The purpose of this company, how the name Aphesis came, and what I hope to accomplish through this company. I will keep you guys updated, so keep checking back.

10/08/09 Yesterday was the Rocketboys' album release party, and it has to be on my top favorite moments of this year. It was truly amazing, and I take it an honor to have followed these guys for years and see them grow into the amazing musicians that they are. They are truly something else and I look forward to seeing where they will end up. I know huge things are in their future.
Also, Aphesis at Studio 410 is official! You can now go to 410 W. Davis St, Dallas, Tx and purchase your Aphesis shirt there. Josh is the owner of a super awesome hair studio. 10/06/09 Well tomorrow is an exciting day for me! Reason number 1, The Rocketboys will be in town, and we are doing our big giveaway at the show. First person that finds me will receive 2 Aphesis shirts on the spot! I will be wearing our "In Need" shirt(white v-neck that says"I need Aphesis") Winner will take a pic with me as a proud owner of two limited Aphesis designs, and walk away a happy man/woman. 10/04/09 It was a good day! I'm looking forward to this next week coming up. Gonna organize myself like never before. Organization makes way for growth. We will also be preparing to get Aphesis in Studio 410 at the Bishop Arts District, so keep your eye out. This will be one of the places for you to be able to get Aphesis without having to pay shipping and handling online. My goal is to strategically place Aphesis in certain boutiques and shops, keep it exclusive, and at the same time get out there. Does that make sense? Hope it does. 10/03/09 I want to apologize for my lack of updates on our MySpace. The reason for this is I did not have internet access on an actual computer for about 2 months. I want to thank everyone who continues to show us love. I really don't know where I would be without all of you catching our vision and being excited about Aphesis the way I am. Believe me when I say that great things are coming. I have so many things I have been planning and working on, soon it will all be revealed and I believe it's the best yet.

08/01/09 Good things are happening. Not in the way that I expected, but they are happening. I've had an image of how I thought Aphesis was going to work out, only to find out that my plans mean nothing in comparison to God's.
In these last few months I've gone through what many would call a dessert. Not knowing why things aren't happening, and not understanding the way things are happening. If there's one thing I've learned through all this is that nothing can ever happen if I first don't acknowledge the one who gave me Aphesis in the first place.God. All this to say, that a new design is in the process, and so are other huge, huge, things. I want to thank all of you who continue to believe in Aphesis and support us. Great things are coming! Things way beyond what my mind can comprehend.

06/22/09 It was just confirmed last week! We will be at the Forever the Sickest Kids show here at the Plano Centre. Other bands on the roster: He is Legend, Ryan Cabrerra, and more! Please make plans to be there. We will have all our stuff available for purchasing.
Also, our good friends the Rocketboys will be doing a show this Friday at the Prophet bar here in Dallas. I will be there, and so should you. It's worth it to the tenth power. Whatever that means.
Last but not least. I have chosen the 4 concepts for our next line, and design process has started. I'm sooooooooooooooooooo excited about this next line. My mind is running wild. I feel the concepts are some of our deepest, and most freeing at the same time. So be on the look out for updates

Wow! What a great weekend we had. The Fashioned conference was awesome, and we got to meet some really cool people. I want to thank everyone who bought a shirt and showed us love. I really do appreciate it, and look forward to being able to bring more Aphesis in to your lives. =0)
After the conference we went to eat at Chicken E, love their tenders. Then headed over to Snowbiz, a small sno-cone shop in Waxahachie. They have this amazing cherry sno-cone with vanilla ice cream that I like. Then I hung out with my good friend Jason, who I haven't hung out with in forever. Mainly because of the distance between us. We drove around and tried to invision ourselves in some sweet houses. It was different, but relaxing and thought provoking.

I want to apologize for not updating sooner. It's been a crazy couple of weeks, and my computer was acting up. Everything is great though! I had the opportunity to speak at Horn High this Monday to students in a Family and Career management class. The more I do these high school lectures, the more I realize I love it. It's great to be able to share my story with students.
We will be setting up a booth next weekend at the Fashioned Girls Conference. We are excited about this event and know that great things are going to happen! We also have another major event coming up in July, however, I will provide you guys with further details very soon! I promise it will be worth the wait.

05/20/09 Man, so much going on. Just got back from Houston this weekend for the battle of the bands we were sponsoring. The whole thing was a success! Thanks to Tabitha and staff. We had a blast and were treated like royalty while being down there. My good bud Moses Uvere traveled with us and did a special performance at the event. It was way off the chain! For real!

05/09/09 Our visit to Mesquite High was awesome! It was neat going back and walking through the halls and remembering some of the stupid stuff I did. I freaked out when I found out it's been 8 years since I graduated! I feel old.
I want to say thank you to Mrs Helms and Mrs Ferguson for giving me the opportunity to share my story with these kids. It was awesome to see them relate and connect in some way. I loved all the questions and being able to answer them. Look forward to hearing from u guys!
We will be out in the road to Houston this weekend, so ya pray for us. It's a battle of the bands we are sponsoring. We are super excited about the event! Check out our default pic for info!
04/27/09 I'm excited to be going back to my High School. Not for a reunion, but to speak to students about Aphesis during career week. If you are in Mrs. Helms class, I will be going next week to share a little bit about Aphesis and how to prepare to go into this type of career. I'm excited and look forward to meeting lots of cool kids. Help us by spreading the word. We will be taking stickers and buttons to hand out, so make sure you don't skip school these days. Actually, don't skip school at all.

We are planning our trip to Humble, Tx here in May. If you are from the area, stop by the Fuel Cafe for a battle of the bands. We are also on the beginning stages of planning our next line. I'm excited about it and know it will be something awesome and powerful.

04/14/09 Hey everybody! Hope you all had a great Easter weekend! Lots of new things are poppin with Aphesis! To start off, the Aphesismobile is now ready and out on the road! It will mainly be seen in the Dallas area, and surrounding cities, unless we are traveling to another city. If you happen to see the Aphesismobile, stop and talk to us. We will have free stickers, buttons, and other sweet stuff to giveaway. Please check our pics to get a closer look of the Aphesismobile!
Also, I am on the thinking and praying process for our new line. There are many crazy ideas running through my mind and soon I will start taking steps to make these ideas come to live, so keep checking back for updates!

03/29/09 So what's new? So much! We were at the Manafest show yesterday, and met a lot of awesome people! The show in itself was awesome, and both of the people performing were great! Huge thanks to Anthony,owner of Club S.M.A.C.K for letting us set up and being so kind.
Well, as you guys can see, we have a busy schedule coming up. Which is awesome! It's something we've been truly praying for. We are also in the final steps of getting the Aphesismobile out on the road. It will be a white 2009 Scion XB wrapped in our logo as well as our myspace info for everyone to see as we are driving. So look for it on the road here in Dallas, and any other place we may be. We will be carrying stickers and buttons in the Aphesismobile to give away to anyone who stops and talks to us. Be looking out for that!

We have just confirmed our attendance to the 2009 Fashioned Girls conference on June 12! More info will be added as we recieve it. Remember that if you are interested in having us come out to your school, youth group, or any other event, shoot us a message with details. Also, yours truly will be a daddy any minute now. I will be sure to post pics and keep you guys updated! I'm nervous, but a good nervous. Please pray for us.

03/08/09 Just a quick update. We will be a part of a couple of events coming up, and details will be posted soon. For all of you that are in the Houston area, we will be heading your way May 15. I will be traveling with some awesome people, one of them being Moses Uvere, who will be performing at the event.
Speaking of Moses, last night I had the privilege to attend a hip hop show where Moses was performing along with the rest of his crew. It was a late show, and I felt it the next morning, but no regrets at all. These guys made me feel all tingly inside, the feeling you get when you see pure talent. Please check out any of their shows coming up. I will be posting bulletins promoting Moses' shows.

Or any other event you can think of, please send us your info. 02/26/09 So what's new with us lately? Well, tons of behind the scenes stuff. Had a lot of time to get away and just focus this week, get back to the basics, the roots. I wrote a blog at the beginning stages of Aphesis where I mentioned our whole purpose. In that blog, I shared something that has kept us focused on the right things, no matter what success we may have had or will have. That one thing is this, "At the moment I disconnect from the Creator(God), my creativity ends." Still my focus till this day. 02/20/09 So much has happened since my last update. Had a meeting with Moses Uvere at my favorite Mexican restaurant, and we talked about different plans and goals. All I can say is that great things are coming in the near future! Keep an eye for Moses' mix tape coming soon. It's going to feature some really amazing songs!
Also, last night was the Rocketboys show here in Dallas, and it was simply amazing. They were able to debut a new song from the upcoming full length album, and let me just tell you guys, this band has a way of topping off their amazing creations every time. We say it all the time, but this is a show definitely worth checking out if they stop by your town.

02/13/09 Guess what tomorrow is? That's right, Valentines Day. I remember this was the time when everyone would have those sweet valentines day parties at school with all the heart shaped cookies and cupcakes loaded with sugar! Ooooh, anybody remember the Mickey and Minnie heart shaped lollypops? Those were so good! Do they still make those?
Anyway today I met a cool girl at work who recognized who I was. I was helping her get a shirt and she asked, "Are you the Aphesis guy?" I was a little shocked that she knew what I looked like. Apparently she recognized my face from Myspace. It made my day to know that someone who I didn't know, knew who we were. Great meeting you Melissa!

02/07/09 We are super excited to announce that we have added a new member to our family. Aphesis is now proudly endorsing Moses Uvere! Moses is someone we've known for quite some time, and we are now so excited to be working with him. Please stop by his myspace(Moses Uvere's Myspace We love hip hop, and Moses defines it well!
02/04/09 The commercial during the super bowl was true! Denny's today was giving out free grand slams from 6am-2pm. That was more than enough motivation to get up in the morning at 4:30am to get ready for work and be at Denny's right before 6am. My wife and I got there right on time! It was only a matter of minutes before that place filled up and the line was out the door.
It's true, some things taste so much better when they are free.
