Since the UK smoking ban was introduced,1000 pubs have closed.
Pubs that were in trouble before the smoking ban have long since closed their doors. The pubs closing now were profitable before the smoking ban-50 a week are now closing.

The Daily Mirror report 600000 people have stopped going to bingo halls,as many as 50% will close in the next two years.
Every day,the local news feeds are full of pub closures and the economic and social effect this is having-our National press ignores this and claims the smoking ban is a success.
14 million smokers have been forced outdoors in all weathers-landlords have been given no choice as to how to run their own business.
Many European bans have exemptions for smaller bars who don't serve food,many Countries allow indor smoking rooms,away from the bar area-this middle ground would save many of our pubs closing,save jobs and keep our pub heritage alive.
Inn The Cold is a 90 day,1000 pub tour to highlight the plight of our licensed trade and to hopefully capture media coverage of the real effects and damage the smoking ban is causing.

Will say this early,so you don't waste your time-we support the rights of smokers and non smokers,and seperate indoor rooms with ventilation and air con. will do this. I would prefer everyone to mix freely but cannot condone sending smokers outdoors,in all weathers when the Government has deemed smoking legal for the purpose of tax collection.
Smokers should be protected from the elements,business owners shoid be allowed free choice and provision should be made for non smokers to enjoy their evening/work/ smoke free if they so wish. Inn The Cold smoking ban stinks Freedom 2 choose

Hey Max, what is it that i'm hearing about the possibility of introducing smoking permits that you need to have to buy cigarettes?Hope it's just a bulls*it or i'm moving out of this country.
