DSM's, Motocross, Music, Drag Racing, basically anything mechanical that can be torn apart and made better somehow....
Anyone who knows me well will tell you that I'm addicted to Mountain Dew. Personally, I don't consider it an addiction....not yet, anyway.
I suppose my Mt. Dew fetish is the reason my favorite color is green.

BANDS/MUSICIANS THAT I CANNOT TOLERATE:
Finger Eleven- You suck. You have, what, TWO songs that are popular? I'm sorry, but you can't be HARDCORE when they play your sh!t on the Variety channels.
Red Hot Chili Peppers- You guys have been around 20 years or so and you're STILL making money by copying other people's songs and ruining them. For shame.
Kid Rock- See Red Hot Chili Peppers; only subtract a few years from your career. Tip of the day: YOU CAN'T BE CONSIDERED AN "ARTIST" IF YOU STEAL OTHER PEOPLES MUSIC AND RUIN IT, NUMBNUTS!
Staind / Aaron Lewis- You opened with one great song- "Mudshovel." Ever since we've heard nothing but pussy, whining ballads coming out of your mouth. You're WORSE than Emo....go cut yourself.
Movies
American Pie(s) * American Beauty * American History X * Austin Powers (all) * Frequency * The Day After Tomorrow * The Butterfly Effect * The Fast & The Furious (even though it's totally unrealistic) * Shawshank Redemption * ~anything SCARY~ * I could go on and on..... !!
IMPORTANT !! If you are obsessed with any of the following movies / T.V. shows then please do not bother talking to me- your personality already annoys me. Thank you. 1) Lord of the Rings 1-79 2) All Matrixs 3) Star Wars 4) Star Trek 5) Family Guy 6) Laguna Beach 7) My Super Sweet 16
Television
Basically it all boils down to two shows....The Simpsons and Rocko's Modern Life. I live for The Simpsons! I've watched almost every show since they were a 5 minute animated skit on the Tracey Ullman Show back in 1988. I really like to watch House M.D. as well- I have every episode of House and Rocko on DVD; they're a couple of the best shows on TV. Everything else just plain sucks. TV is horrible now!
Don't even get me started on the creators ofFamily Guy- a fat clueless man at the head of a lower middle-class animated family with 3 children? You've got to be kidding me. I wish I could get rich from ripping off other people's TV Show ideas. Good show, but it's been done.
Books
Don't really have the time to read anything except all the useful information on DSMTuners.com.
Heroes
This space is reserved for my friends Chad Egnatz, Aaron Lantzer, and Brian Betler who all lost their lives at a very young age. You guys made the countless days I spent at the motocross tracks more fun than I could've imagined, and helped to provide me with some of the greatest memories anyone could wish for.
About me: I've been a gearhead all my life. This all began with a love for motocross that turned into a 13-season racing career from 1992-2004. My family was very supportive of my racing, but we couldn't afford to pay someone to maintain the bikes....so I took matters into my own hands.
By the age of 13, I was doing everything on the bikes myself. Oil changes, filter cleaning, engine rebuilds, fork seal installs...everything. I did all of my own engine porting and tuning, and my bikes were always in tip-top running condition. I'm a VERY meticulous mechanic- I don't cut corners, and every repair was done by the books....no guesswork. Anyone that has work done by me can rest assured it will be done in the most professional manner possible.
At some point guys began to recognize how clean and well-running my bikes were at the races, so before I knew it I was doing some wrenching on other guy's bikes after school during the week that paid for the parts I needed and the race fees for the upcoming weekend.
Upon graduation from High School, I chose not to go to College but I became a certified Motorcycle Repair Tech. I didn't want to use it to gain a job at a motorcycle shop, but actually open my own shop. A badly broken ankle in 2004 combined with rising race fees and equipment costs put an end to my Motocross career, but I walked away having met a ton of great people making my Motocross years some of the best years of my life.
My first experience with DSM's came in 2002 when my buddy Steve introduced me to these cars and the potential power they had. I was immediately addicted. That was 7 years ago, and today I'm so deeply involved with these cars that almost every single waking moment is spent working on my own cars or fixing someone else's.
I enjoy everything these cars can give me. My goal is to be well-rounded DSMechanic, focusing on everything from Tuning to Engine Building. It'll be hard because there are so many different tuning platforms and everyone has different goals, but I love being faced with new challenges....it's the reason I wake up in the morning.
I enjoy graphic design, listening to music, playing guitar / piano / drums, and drinking Mountain Dew. Anybody who knows me will tell you that I drink enough Mountain Dew that it most likely flows through my veins.
Who I'd like to meet: People who have similar interests as me....its tough meeting new people at my age.
Haha yeah ik but it's kind of funny, just better watch them selves or RAD will be on them in a heart beat LOL thanks for the welcome. I'm going to look for the spot on the head for that turbo tomorrow
Thanks i figured it out couple days ago. It took me forever.. i ended up having to join an Evo forum and post a couple threads asking. Piston to wall clearance on a factory Evo IX piston is 0.001"-0.0015" i was surprised cuz i heard people runing 0.004" and i would think you would get lots of piston slap with that much..
Hey, ran into a problem. Trying to figure out what my pistion to cylinder wall clearance should be.. guys at DSM Graveyard said .002, but my machinist said that doesn't seem right for a coated piston and the clearance should be tighter. Just lookin for some input and your the guy for the job.
Actually, I found out yesterday I have single piston calipers. It's weird actually, I buy GST pads and they always wear funny. There's about a 1cm "slice" on the outer side of the pad that the rotor doesn't touch...it's a little weird. I need to get the GSX brakes...or some nice REAL Brembos. Mine are all kinds of fucked up.
so i have experienced AWD finally. it wasnt in a DSM, but an 08 325xi beemer...and it wasnt stick, but tiptronic...but still, amazziinnggggggggggg!!!!!
Hey, sorry to take so long to get back to you. Been busy tring to get my office open, which it did about 2 weeks ago. I'm all moved up to Zelienople now and the office is just outside of Cranberry Twp.
