We are known for bringing mashup culture to the masses, and spinning the best in mashups, bootlegs and bastard pop.
We love all genres, and can play sets of all styles, and also love remixes, covers, and electro.
We've had Myspace pages for all the Bootie parties and individual Adrian and Mysterious D pages, but now we FINALLY have this one dedicated to our A plus D created mashups and DJ listings of when and where we'll be spinning! He's a rock singer-turned-DJ who fronts the world's only mashup band. She's a party girl-turned-DJ who helped create the biggest mashup club in the world. Together, they're A plus D – as in Adrian & the Mysterious D. Known mostly as the couple who helped bring mashup culture to America, the duo have forged a reputation as crowd-pleasing selectors who not only shamelessly bridge the gap between genres, but between the alternative and the mainstream. This is best evidenced by the success of their club Bootie, the first mashup bootleg party in the United States, now the biggest mashup club night in the world, with 8 monthly Bootie parties on 3 continents, with varioius one-offs all over the world!
Launched in San Francisco in 2003, Bootie has attracted mashup DJs from around the globe, and the couple have since launched sister clubs in Los Angeles, New York City, Paris, Munich, Boston, Brisbane (Australia), Berlin and Vienna -- with Bootie one off parties all over the world, Mexico City, Chicago, Hong Kong, Brazil, Copenhagen, Beijing (twice!), and more - further solidifying their renown as pioneers and galvanizers of the international mashup scene.
In addition to that, the duo have played DJ gigs of all styles, audiences and sizes, all over the world. They've played alongside some of the world's most popular bands and DJs, and have DJed at parties from giant festivals to high-end upscale events to down-n-dirty alternative divebars.
The day the dessert came to the city - the massive dust storm travelled 100's of KM's from the Outback overnight at a height of 3km, driven by winds of 100km/h where it dumped a 1000 tonnes of red dust over Sydney. The real reason for the dust
