In 1978, in a remote mountain encampment clinging tenaciously to the foothills of the Himalayas, the 3 brothers who would someday call themselves Apollo Cobra came screaming into the world.
Abandoned by their parents at a young age, the boys learned to fend for themselves and survive by wits and luck alone. A solar-powered shortwave radio was their only source of education and companionship, and through it, they learned the languages and music of the human race.
Discovered by hikers in 2008 at the age of 30, they adapted quickly to the heretofore unseen outside world. Trading in some of their startlingly sophisticated homemade instruments for commercial models and modern recording equipment, they have begun to capture their original music. Themes both alien and familiar, culled from the entire span of human experience, permeate what, in the hands of three ordinary men, would be simple pop songs. But in the hands of Apollo Cobra, they become extraordinary.
